44 years ago today our business – Harry Woodford and Sons was completely destroyed by a series of tornados that ran through Ontario, Canada. The tornadoes touched down to the north of us in Woodstock and worked their way down to Simcoe. Our little town of Kelvin was spared, but east of the town our facility and house were destroyed along with many others in the path.

Our business at that time revolved around vintage automobile restoration. We specialized in MG’S, especially the T series and MGA’s as well as a bunch of Austin Healeys.

All vehicles on the premises were destroyed and most were restored eventually and brought back to life.

We were very overwhelmed by this tragedy and were very surprised by the outpouring of assistance to help make heads and tails out of what was left.

I never really got a chance to thank some of the supporters and helping hands at the time and now may be too late for some.

Some of the pictures in this post are pulled from a video that was taken by Vince Ellers. I am grateful to him for sending the footage.

I would like to thank the following and for sure I have forgotten a few.
