NEW RDR CARS SHINE BRIGHT AND FLY
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., April 28, 2009 — Robert Davis Racing (RDR) completed another successful NASA weekend, this time at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. The team took home seven (7) pole positions and five (5) class victories. In addition to the team wins, Jeff Jeppesen and Truman Pollard scored their first top-ten finishes of the year in the highly competitive Spec Miata class. It was also the first race since Truman’s #18 MX-5 Miata was completely rebuilt by his teammates as an “Overhaulin” surprise last week. The only disappointment was a Retirement and 6th place finish in the Saturday enduro race after the team led comfortably.Driver Car Class Saturday Finish Sunday Finish

About RDR: RDR has been a dominant force on the west coast in SCCA Club Racing, winning regional, divisional and national titles for the last six years. While the team still supports the SCCA, NASA has given it the opportunity to race in different classes, eliminating much of the inter- team competition. MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development’s new support of NASA also aided the transition, as the team’s goal is to capture three NASA National titles at Miller Motorsports Park in September.
RDR appreciates the support of Mother’s Polishes and Waxes, SAFERACER, Hoosier Racing Tires, MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development, AIM Sports, Racing Hart, Nippon Paint, Racing Beat, Speed Source, Hawk Brakes, Racing Beat, AWR, Classy Car Auto Detailing, Sparco, Pure Power Lubricants, Motul, Star Shield Armor and EMI.
