Aren't you tired of rebuilding those expensive Toyota engines?
Currently, there are nine Formula Atlantics already on the track with AWR's own rotary conversion, with another one being built now. Only six of the cars are shown here. If you currently own one of our conversions that it not listed, and would like to have your car showcased, or if you have information to update what's shown here, please contact us. AWR can build one for you too. Just contact us to see how. Also see our Formula Atlantic Construction page to see some of the pieces that go into making these cars.
We currently have a New original Mazda Competition Top Mount Starter available for sale. Please see our Sale page for more info and additional pictures.

The Atlantic seen here is a beautiful representation of a Swift DB/4 with the Awesome 12A Rotary engine. An incredibly reliable and powerful package.

This car is now owned by Sanchez Motorsports along with the original AWR Rotary Atlantic Prototype, which is shown below.

Like a good micro-brew? Stone Brewing Company is one of the sponsors of our cars and makes some of the best. We always have just a little on hand. :-)

Last we heard, this Swift DB-4, rotary-powered Formula Atlantic was owned by Byron Stauffer of Formula Cars East at Roebling Road Raceway. It was for sale though at the time, so we don't know if they still own it.

Byron owns a prep shop at the track for Formula Mazdas, as well as other track rental setups.

If you read this and are the new owner, we'd like to post more pictures and your story of it. Send us an e-mail .

Formula Atlantic at Mid-Ohio in 1998 This Formula Atlantic, built upon a Ralt chassis, is a stunner. Originally built for Valley Motor Center (Star Mazda), it was driven by Mark Rodriguez. This car debuted at the 1998 SCCA Runoffs at Mid-Ohio.

This car has since been sold to another happy owner.

The photo on the left is Dan Selznick in a Ralt RT-40 Rotary powered Atlantic at Phoenix with the checkered flag.

This car was originally owned by Dan Selznick who sold his Formula Atlantic to Ben Beasley.

Ben Beasley has been making some improvements and adjustments to the car, resulting in his first win at Nelson Ledges in 2003.

This is the same car as above. The car keeps getting better, it's now painted Mazda sunburst yellow, and looks awesome. The engine cooling has been upgraded to AWR's new dual pass radiators & new ductwork bringing the water temps down from 230 to 185!

This photo is Dan Selznik again, in the lead followed by George Mazloom , another Ralt, and Cliff Cappos in our Swift DB/4 Rotary.
