The Honda Beat is a capable little mid-engined runabout car. The original 656 cc (40.0 cu in) engine was with the MTREC (Multi Throttle Responsive Engine Control) system, which included one throttle valve for each of the three cylinders, to produce 64 PS (63 bhp) at 8100 rpm.

Well, that just wouldn’t do for one happy AWR customer. AWR was contracted to install a 4 cylinder high output engine from the Suzuki Haybusa, or better known as the GSX1300R MOTORCYCLE!!. We’re not yet sure what year the engine was, but it would have had a minimum of 156.1 hp and upwards of 194 hp in later years.
