Racing Cages, Inc., has been selected by MAZDASPEED MOTORSPORTS DEVELOPMENT to design and build the full race cage that is cage that is used as the ‘spec’ cage in the SCCA Pro Racing Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup

The MX-5 cage uses 1.5″ x .120″ wall DOM tubing. The bases are laser cut and computer folded. All cages are fixture welded and prefitted before shipping.
There are cut templates for the dash pad. A plate to mount your main power switch is pre-installed. There is no need to remove the dash, just a little trim on the glove box door base to allow the cross bar to pass through the underside of the dash.
The original driver’s door bar shown has been re-engineered and will now include a double crush zone. Instructional DVD included.
